An Intro to the NYC Reopening Scene

Phase 2 in NYC was initiated two weeks ago and tomorrow, Monday, July 6, Governor Cuomo will initiate Phase 3 wherein restaurants will continue to allow outdoor dining. Businesses such as spas, retailers, and nail salons will also be allowed to reopen while ensuring customer safety.

I haven’t exactly made plans to brunch any time soon, but I have to admit that I love knowing that my favorite garden restaurants and rooftop bars are back in business! Though some don’t exactly want to go back to “normal” but I am so relieved that fellow New Yorkers can make a living once again.

What I’m Wearing

And in case you’re wondering what I’d wear, I think this Parisian vibe below would do the trick.

Dress: LOVESHACKFANCY for Target

Shoes: Schutz

That’s right you guys! I’ve launched a YouTube channel! I haven’t exactly crafted a strategy plan for the channel just yet, but I think it would be a fun addition to the mix!

What excites you most about being out of isolation?

  1. We’re already on Phase 3 of reopening in Los Angeles, but it looks like we’re reversing it, because of increased COVID-19 cases again. I hope New York is better, and hopefully won’t experience a spike from this. Stay safe (plus, that Ethiopian restaurant sounds really good)!

    1. It’s so good! There aren’t many Ethiopian restaurants in Brooklyn so grateful🙏 I hope the same for LA. It’s so tough! Stay safe as well.

    1. Thank you, Margot! It looks like you also have a keen eye for perfect dresses!! 🙂

  3. It’s so good NYC is seeing lots reopen – like you say people need to be able to start earning a living again. I’m most excited about exploring again. Literally taking the bins out has been a highlight here in the UK so I can’t wait to get back to seeing new places 🙂
