I’ve included a few of my basic traveling gear below for reference. The following are essentials for all your travel getaways.
This backpack is the ideal size for someone of my height. Backpacks are measured by liters so you can decide on whatever size meets your needs. They’re great for European getaways since it might be difficult to maneuver luggage on cobblestoned pavements.
Avoid overpacking since you will be carrying this backpack and you wouldn’t want to experience discomfort from doing so for possibly an extended period of time.
My ideal travel carry-on would be my backpack but over the past couple of days, I’ve been experiencing shoulder pain and decided that my Away carry-on luggage would be best.
If you’re not a big fan of backpacks, the Away carry-on luggage is a great alternative. I love this luggage because it’s light and durable. I also loved the option to include the detachable TSA-approved portable charger upon purchase.
The Away carry-on luggage also includes international wall chargers in a handy pouch saving you the trouble of having to purchase a set.
Cellphone and Charger
I was mortified when my cellphone was completely destroyed in Berlin. I frantically searched for a replacement and had to settle with one purchased from a discounted cellular repair shop. Since then, I’ve decided to travel with a backup!
I recently made this purchase after months of research on the best digital camera. I decided to go with the Canon EOS Rebel T6 because it’s a great camera for beginners. You can purchase the following bundle on Amazon which includes all of the awesome additions you see below.
